Oneida Cold Storage and Warehouse management structure includes 119 years of combined strengths in the industry utilizing the same ideas as where it began.
"Oneida" began operations in 1976 as a cross-dock facility for Curtis Truck lines, working as a break bulk Terminal for approximately 100 L.T.L. trucks within the Curtis lineup. In 1982, we built a 100,000 square foot distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and branched out into the Public Storage business. Since that time, we have focused our growth in the Denver market, with operations in Henderson,Colorado.
Our Henderson facility is a state of the art, high cube refrigerated foods and grocery distribution center. Located on 27 acres, the current layout includes 305,000 square feet of warehouse, utilizing refrigerated docks and 51 trailer load out doors.
Plans are underway to expand the current facility. In Spring 2011, we are adding 141,500 square feet of freezer, cooler and process space, including expanded quick freezing cells, 22,000 additional rack positions and 22 additional doors. Project completion is expected in 3rd quarter 2011.
